New job at Jamba Juice, good possibility to meet girls?

Working in a food service industry face to face with customers is hard to show your value. I used to work at subway and i had a way easier time picking up girls after work than i did while working even with the exact same attitude charm and demeanor. You will meet a lot of people but my suggestion is to use them to network and try to hook up with their friends. I knew a girl that would specifically go to jamba juice because the guy in there would hook her up with free drinks. So yes girls will flirt with you but dont give them a free drink unless theyre giving you an invite to a party or something similar.

First up, enjoy the job. I worked at Jamba for 2 years in college and loved every minute.

Moving along, I know everywhere is different, but just the nature of Jamba Juice lends it to a certain kind of younger crowd and there's a great chance most of the employees will be friends. Be wary with getting incestuous with your fellow workers. It happens easier than you think, particularly when you're closing with a bottle of champagne and pumping out fresh squeezed orange juice for "closing mimosas". cough anyway...

Fortunately being at a Jamba Juice you'll get more health-conscious (read: attractive) customers than you'd get at say, a McDonald's. Cater to that. Be careful with how you deliver this (because management won't like you shit talking the product), but I always tried to let people (people who seemed like they cared anyway) know which drinks were healthy and which weren't. Most of it has sherbet in it which is freaking garbage, and I hated people being tricked. Let's say HB8 comes in and asks for a razzmatazz, this girl is clearly fit, I would say something like "Mmm razzmatazz is always a favourite of mine, but have you tried the 5 fruit frenzy? It's just as tart but it's from our all fruit menu and won't have any sherbet -- healthier options are one reason I love Jamba smoothies". People get REALLY appreciative really quickly, read the menu when you go in. Drinks with sherbet don't say it, and lots of people don't know. Also, not only have you done her a favour, but you've also let her know you value your health as well.

Oh, the goodness guarantee. Abuse the fuck out of it. It's a Jamba policy that says if someone doesn't like their drink for ANY reason, we make a new one. Jamba corporate WANTS you to abuse this. It allows people to try new things without feeling over-invested. For example one girl wanted to try a banana berry but couldn't decide if she wanted whey protein since it changes the taste; I told her I actually like how it changes the taste, but many hate it. I urged her to give it a shot and if she didn't like it then no problem. She took one sip and looked like she was going to gag, I had her make a free throw into the garbage and had a fresh one done in less than 60 seconds. So HB8 comes up and orders something, tell her you want her to try [insert healthier drink here] and see if she doesn't love it or you'll make her "anything she wants", but if she does like it then you can say "I just needed to give you a reason you couldn't resist to come back in". You can play around with it, but hell, even to little old ladies advertise the goodness guarantee. People appreciate it and plenty get wary of trying it because they don't want to waste your time, I always said something like "honestly, I'm going to make $9 in the next hour whether I make you one smoothie or two, I'd really rather see you go home happy". For HB8 you can even add "and hey if it'll keep you in the store for 2 more minutes why would I complain?" Idk, play around with it.

Those are just off the top of my head but you see where I'm going. Jamba Juice registers are a fun place to be. I don't know if there would be an appropriate way to give a girl your number if you were working, but you can always make the game getting her to give you her number. Maybe tastefully delivered you could say something like "well it would be unprofessional of me to ask you for your phone number, but maybe if I'm lucky I'll find yours written on a receipt" -- I'm not sure, play around with it but obviously don't put yourself in a bad position. I was a manager so I can't condone total irresponsibility (but seriously, try the mimosa thing if you get a chance, even off the clock).
