So, I'm an 18 year old who just started community college and I want to well, meet more women/girls, whether to make friends or more. Before I go into myself I'll say I read the FAQ's and skimmed through the "new to seddit" post.

In HS I was completely out of it the first two years (bad grades, minimal friends, depressed out the wang), but turned it around the last two improving immensely across the board, which is continuing now, except for well "getting women/girls", although I had plenty of friends who were girls, I never went anywhere with any of them. I'm approaching school right now with complete focus as I'm looking to transfer to a four year college only after a year. I've gone from 199lbs to 174lbs since about a little less than 3 months ago and my goal is 155lbs. I'm doing noFap and currently on a 70 day streak (since I started). I'm pretty much going for self improvement across the board and this and fashion are two the of things I want to do well (not worrying about fashion until down to goal weight). I'm pretty confident and I think I'm a good conversationalist and kinda funny, but I think I may have AA. If I even slightly know someone beforehand (talked to them for a sec) I'm great at approaching, but if I haven't had contact or just a smile I think too damn much and do nothing (at school, gym, anywhere pretty much). Maybe I just think that approaching unknowns is so strange that I avoid it inadvertently, even though I like to think I'm great at meeting friends (I have been in class, but not out). I really want to be able to go up to anyone at school at just get a conversation/flirting started. I'm working on eye-contact like crazy now, trying to look at everyone longer than they look at me and smiling when I think it's appropriate. Oh yeah, I've never kissed a girl and I've never really been on a date-date before (I have been on friend dates). So I should probably stop here and get to my questions (feel free to ask for other info if you need it).

What do you think I should do and what tips would you have for me? How should I approach the touching everyone you talk to thing, it seems so different and even challenging if not in the right situation. I've always tried not to be direct with girls, but now I'm realizing I haven't done much to have them chase me nor have I gone after them. Honestly I just found this today and I probably forgot to ask certain things, so any guidance would be great. I'll also be reading models my mark manson, someone recommended it to me.

edit- also any advice on text game would be good (I've read the be short and direct stuff, but any input is good)
