So it's been a while since I've been in the pickup scene. I took a couple years off due to being back home in a smaller area after college and not being out on the bar scene. I'm back on Seddit and sharing some of the things I learned when I got good towards the end of college.

So here's a couple crazy things I would do when I started getting good and the outcome independence started to kick in...

1) THE POINT:

I'd be chilling with my friends scanning the bar for a girl and I'd lock eyes with a girl doing the same. I'd hold eye contact for a second and if she did I'd take it as an IOI. Next, I would hold my arm out straight and point at her and say "You!". Then I'd laugh out of amusement at how ridiculous the situation was, smile at her, and continue bullshitting with my friends. I'd let this sit for sometime up to 1/2 hour and then whenever we'd happen to be walking by her I'd open her and do my thing.

Something about it worked really well. They'd always laugh and ask me why I pointed at them and I'd just say I felt like it and continue the conversation.

One time it was closing call and a girl walked past me and I just pointed and said "You!" and she walked up to me and said "Me?". She ended up blowing me like 30min later when we got back to her place.

2) THE "I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN FOREVER":

When a girl would be happen to be walking by I would say "OMG, I haven't seen you in forever!". She'd be confused and say "where did we meet?" I'd respond and say something rediculous like "Remember that time in the Bahamas". Instant inside joke. We'd make up this whole story about our time in the Bahamas and I would of course turn it sexual and talk about the amazing sex we had on the beach.

3) THE TWIRL:

Pretty simple. She walks by, I put out my hand, she instinctively grabs it and I twirl her around and say "How are you doing?"

Now I caution you guys on pulling off some of these as it takes solid frame and some liquid courage, but it just goes to show that you can sometimes get away with some outlandish stuff.
