If you ask her over text, how can you take advantage of that situation? If you already know each other well, and as you said, she is friendly to you, the only way not to end up in friendzone is to be direct and arrange a meetup. Avoid the messaging-loop.

I really don't want to explain how bad it went either. My one good line was probably a high point. And I loved it so I'll explain that, but nothing else.
