Coming back from college for the Summer, I invite my hook up from last summer to a party tonight. She says she already has plans. End of conversation.

Few hours later she's texts me saying "sorry for sounding short, but have fun tonight and we can do something at some point this summer."

I do not want to keep asking for her to hang out but I also dont want to stop seeing her as I have a good relationship with her.

Any advice?
