You can take it slow but kissing her on the first date is not forward whatsoever. Only yesterday there was a girl who was completely obvious to my "subtle" hints. It was only when I kissed her that she realised something was up. She decided she liked it and went with it. If I hadn't kissed her she would have friendzoned me.

Basically the rule is assume attraction and escalate. That means that you don't look for signals that she wants you to kiss her. You touch her knee, put your arm around her, stroke her hair back (over a period of time) and eventually go for the kiss. If she accepts a movie then you're pretty much already in, she just doesn't know it yet. Make sure you sit close to each other during the movie. Play a little truth or dare to turn the mood more sexual. If you feel the mood is right but you need an in to kiss her ask her truth or dare. Truth: do you want to kiss me. If she gets flustered but doesn't say no, gently put your finger under her chin and slowly lean in to kiss her. If she says dare: come over here. It doesn't matter how close you are already but this is the point where you do the same move. Women like to be led so do that. Remember 1 thing though: no means no. Don't be afraid to show her you're attracted to her but let her make up her own mind as well. If she doesn't like you: fine! You're a catch and she's missing out. She has now become your wingwoman and you have friendzoned her. For now though: get to cuddling during the movie. Work with that and get your face close enough to hers for the kiss.

If you end up making out then have fun with it. See what you like, see what she likes. Stroke the parts of her body you would get aroused by. Grab the back of her neck and feel her hair. Lose yourself in the kiss. If you want to you can keep escalating but if she's shy and inexperienced then making out is plenty for the evening. You can even talk about what you like and shit. If you've made out then you're pretty much in. She might not want to have sex the first night and maybe only after half a year or whatever but that's not the issue. Enjoy whatever happens during the night. Tell her afterwards you'd like to see her again and keep dating. You'll figure your own clumsy (this is not a bad thing) way out from there. Regarding sex: do what feels natural and mutual. You can also communicate after a heavy make out session and ask her what kind of things she likes etc.

If she does any of those things, she's crazy. She probably won't but it's always a possibility. If she does, tell her you don't appreciate it and that you feel attracted to her and that if she's uncomfortable with anything she can just say no and you'll stop. Be respectful but also clear. Sure, you're hitting on her and if she doesn't want you to she should tell you. She's already said yes to a movie together, what did she expect? She should have said: yes, but just as friends. You're not expecting anything but you sure as hell are hoping for a smooch. She feels going for a kiss is rape? That's fucked up. If you feel she's uncomfortable with anything (often pulling away physically) then ask her if anything is wrong. If she says no then fine, she's shy and it's in your mind. Don't keep asking this as it comes off insecure.
