Minorities of seddit, how do you work around blaming your failures because of racial negative stereotypes?

The truth is that even among white guys, only a certain percentage are getting laid. The tall and handsome white guys are the ones having success, not the shorty and ugly ones. Now if you're a short and ugly Asian guy, then guess what? You're going to struggle, looks matter! You don't struggle because you're Asian, you struggle because you're balding rapidly, not good looking, and have major insecurities about your race that likely come off in your interactions with women. I am a tall Indian guy (6'3) and in amazing shape, I've never felt any disadvantages because of my race.

So here is the truth, you're not an Asian guy, you're you. Most white guys would not sleep with an average black girl, but most will get with a Megan Good. Same with you, you're not a Godfrey Gao or else you would be swimming in it, you're you. It isn't your race, it is you. If you were tall and handsome, you would do about as well your white friends but you aren't.

So what can you do?

Get jacked/muscular, it makes up for a lot. Jacked Asian and Indian guys are rare, you will stick out.
Shave it and embrace it, Asian guys can look badass while bald.
Get a therapist or shrink, get over these limiting beliefs. You're probably a loser who has accomplished little in life (no offense) which is why you feel as weak as you do. Get a decent paying job if you do not have one and interact with more and more people so you do not turn into some depressed self-hating hermit (which you likely are now).
Know your league, the truth is you aren't ever going to get the All American blonde that has fratty and handsome white guys as options. You are not going to get the hot blonde sorority sister types, just not happening.

Go for Asian women who are more foreign, foreign women in general, and women from less shallow and choosy cliques (hippies, gamer girls, anime geeks, etc.). You won't have success with shallow and status conscious white girls.

There is nothing to be proud in of what you are born with because you didn't work for it. (whether you think what you were born with is positive or negative)

What you become proud of is how you live your life, and how you do the best you can with what you got.

That being said, I have a friend who is a 5 foot 6 asian guy who has had sex with lots of very hot white & latino women. (some models)

But he's worked ridiculously hard at himself (gym, professional life, approaching women -- he's talked to TONS of girls, building up a lifestyle, etc.)

He never complains and is only positive.

It's tough. There are lots of girls that reject me right away but of the flip side, the ones that like me really like me. As in "Models", your demographic range is greater.

I'm an Aussie living in Japan. My Japanese is really bad so I'm up against the language barrier as well. I stick out everywhere I go and sometimes get stared at.

Do I care? No! It's part of life here. More people notice me because I'm different. People with character leave a bigger impression.

I've been listening to "The Red Queen" which I highly recommend. They talk about what girls and guys search for in partners. Girls are attracted to power and money making ability. Guys look for youth and beauty.

What's interesting is that each sex thinks that the other wants the same thing that they want. Girls don't want beautiful guys, they want rich and powerful guys. They want you to be a man.

Best thing is that we can change these things. By working towards and showing these traits, you will get more attention. You don't have to be rich and powerful but show that you have what it takes to become rich and powerful.

Recently went out to a chilled DJ bar with some mates. We were the only foreigners in the place. On of the girls wanted to dance so she went and asked of of the Japanese girls and asked her to dance. This lifted the room to party mode.

I joined them after a few songs and invited another guy that I had never met to join us. The four of us danced, laughed and held hands. I left and more people came and danced. My friends and I were the party. I danced when I wanted, I sat down when I wanted. I was there for me.

The Japanese girl that I first danced with introduced me to her friend. She spoke just a little English but her eyes said what she wanted deep down.

This whole time I didn't even think about my race, looks or actions. I just do things and the world adjusts to me.

Yes it's a selfish way of thinking but if I start worrying about what everyone thinks of me, I lose.
