Hey guys,
I just did something with a girl that I feel really helped me get over nerves/being mediocre/blah/blah.
Background:
Met a girl in a group, conversation happened, connected, got her contact info, you know the whole deal. Well, later on I asked her for a meet, just the two of us.
The very first thing I did upon seeing her on this meet is give her my biggest smile imaginable. And I meant it, of course (hey, I was happy!). I didn't care if it was reciprocated (it wasn't), but I was really nervous and just smiling and putting myself/my emotions out there felt...liberating. I thought to myself, "there you go, you've shown her how happy you are to see her. If she has any modicum of an interest in you, she MUST'VE liked that". Now, another small disclaimer: I have a moderately nice smile (no decaying teeth, no bad breath, etc.). So hey, just doing this much gave my confidence a nice boost, and opened me up mentally. I had a great conversation with her, and she enjoyed my company.
Oh and in case she doesn't smile back, you can always start the conversation playfully picking on her for being so gloomy (seducers, you can pitch in here)
TLDR: just smile!
there doesn't seem to be anything here
