Totally useless study.

Asking women about the relationship is pointless because they have no fucking idea what they want. A high T man is more likely to fuck them harder and more often and also more likely to treat them with aloofness and control. They will SAY the relationship is worse than if he sucked up to them like a nice Omega but I bet they will be MUCH less likely to file for divorce.

Why not use an objective measure like comparing high-T and the rate of divorces initiated by women? Answer: THAT data won't further the feminine imperative or malign men.

Studies that talk about stuff like quality without defining it clearly is always useless. Even if you define it as something like infidelity, you might end up with a conclusion that states chemically castrating both parties leads to higher "quality" because infidelity drops down to near zero (as both parties lose the desire to have sex/cheat completely). Just by reading the problem statement alone, you already know that no matter what data you get, it is not going to be very useful.

Skimming through the paper, they surveyed 39 couples asking them to rate statements like "My relationship is close to ideal". I think that the work is actually for a semester-long project by students, in which case it is a pretty decent paper for educational purposes (e.g. for scientific writing, demonstrating basic understanding of how to calculate correlations and confidence intervals, etc). But a 39 sample study is not something one would cite.

The quality according to whom?. Hint: it's not the man.

That's a gross oversimplification. Here's one about fathers having lower test. I've seen typical alpha bad boys becoming goofy boyfriends (uploading a ton of couple selfies making funny faces) and doting fathers overnight.

I think the takeaway is that life decisions like long-term relationships and fatherhood domesticates men and it's inevitable to a certain extent for most. I'm sure you'd find similar studies about hormonal correlations with career choices (entrepreneur vs bureaucrat). Or for that matter typical alpha players looking to settle down with age.

The real insight is that the choices you make in life shape you into the man you are from the inside out and that there is a feedback cycle (that can be virtuous or vicious).

I guess it confirms "alpha fucks, beta bucks"; but I am rather skeptical of your black and white intepretation of the results.

A good reason to be skeptical is that men's testosterone slowly decreases as they age. Yet, younger women tend to be attracted to older men who presumably (usually and on average) have lower testosterone than their younger counterparts.

I think you overestimate how much older women prefer in general. Testosterone decline becomes significant at a much later age than most people assume. Genetics and lifestyle choices are also factors.

This study is definitely not an explanation or confirmation of AFBB. I'd like the OP to elaborate on that because I can't see it.

Reminding that Low T directly implies in being less attractive, since T is associated with exercises and a good diet.

I would assume that low T makes a man more committed for the obvious reason that he's likely to be a pussy beggar.

Oh, so attractive men with high-T tend to not be married?While low-T was associated with someone wanting to keep his oneitis relationship ?This isn't a surprise for anyone here.

Committed =/= happy

The cold truth is that men with options don't want to be married.Try to twist evidence in favor of the Low-T as much as you want, no one wants to be among those anyways.Even if there was solid evidence that T is bad, is still doesn't matter, no man wants to be in the skin of the Low-T husband.
