We go on dates, but she does the push/pull thing. Like she wants to hold hands in public and wants me to be more affectionate when we're out, and even has referred to our situation as dating. But then she keeps saying she'll never be in a relationship with me. I don't want the relationship per se, I just want her not to be with anybody else.

It seems you want the benefits of a relationship without the relationship part. If she doesn't want to be exclusive to you than the best thing to do is to either let her go or just be okay with her not being exclusive.

Ahahahaha if you think chasing a girl who clearly doesn't want what you want is alpha I got news for you son. If you keep trying to make her exclusive to and she doesn't want that it makes you look needy as fuck and lowers your value in the dating market. Instead of finding someone who wants what you want, you try and chase this one girl. If you think chasing her is alpha please go right the fuck ahead.
