If you ever feel anxious about how things are going, honestly just ask. Now this is only the case for guys who like to date one at a time and don't have much abundance. If you know things are going bad yet can't move on just because of the small chance that SOMETHING is still there. Nothing is there but if you can't move on just ask her. Ask her is she still likes you, or if something is still there, or if you still have a chance. The worst thing that will happen is she scolds you for not reading the hints and then you never see her again. This way you know that she doesn't want anything and it's that much easier to move on to the next one.
