I've always wondered... How do some of those old couples stay together for such a long period of time? The guy didn't even seem 'alpha' in a sense. Their "honeymoon" period seems to extend far past the "Seven Year Itch".

  • "love is not a Disney fairytale"
  • "love is work" - requires mutual work on both sides
  • "no unconditional love"
  • love fades if you're merely beta bucks (if married)

I subscribe to these above as well... But if this is true, why the fk would any sane guy (knowing this) even try to approach a woman? Just for the babies or the social norm? Just for the company (daily shit tests)? Self-torture? Doesn't this worldview seem a little morbid and makes marriage itself pretty pointless?

Also, doesn't it make you ... kind of "sociopathic" or manipulative? I'm not sure what the right word is... but it kind of removes the joy of interaction with women in total.

Does a relationship really not extend past the notion of sex? I'm not sure if I got it the right way, but it seems to be the basis of what TRP is based on.

Also, it's rare, but wouldn't it also depend on how loyal the woman is? Or is this blue-pill thinking? Do ALL women really act in that way? Or maybe the less-intelligent ones? Does it only apply to the more attractive ones who jump around from alpha to alpha because it's a habit?

I don't like to classify things into redpill/bluepill because sometimes when you classify things you tend to discount the other side with a confirmation bias. I'm looking for truth though... and I do feel like the redpill side has much more truth than the delusional bluepill. I'm pretty sure the redpill has room to expand.

But I absolutely, absolutely agree on the following too:

  • hamstering - I've seen TONS of women rationalize about themselves
  • snowflaking - Again, kinda like hamstering but some of them tend to be really egocentric
  • "plate" theory - Though I don't think it necessarily means actually HAVING multiple gfs, more like being open to options and showing it, since the person who is most likely to leave carries more power in a r/ship

Any good resources that doesn't encourage a morbid view but is still redpill? I like to keep multiple perspectives in any topic so I can see the truth for itself and not be kept to just one side.
