Watch a stand-up comedy before you go out, and then literally open up with "I have to tell you guys this joke from this stand-up comic I was watching earlier." Act out the funniest bit from the comedy, and then you guys can make your own jokes from there. You can do this with your family, with anyone. It's actually something people do a lot in general.
