Get to know her. No joke, just be a cool normal guy, talk about your interests and hobbies, see if there's a spark, snd then ask her out.

It's better than movie magic because if you have any chance at all, it would be through natural conversation, flirting, and then a casual date. There's no magic word, anyone can do it. But you taking the initiative means sooo much more than you know.

So, first you have to find yourself in a situation somewhat near her. Mutual friends or classes = good. Make jokes you think she'd like, ask her basic get-to-know-you questions (like "hey, i like the band on your shirt, have you seen them in concert?" or whatever, NOT "whats your favorite color?"). Just easy surface-level shit that establishes that you're a cool and interesting guy.

Flirting is a little harder but if you're treating her like any random cool person, you'll be okay. Just imagine that you're a cool guy and she's a cool girl and you're both just cool people hanging out, and then ask her on a date based on things she already likes to do. Like a house show for a local band she likes or a movie she wants to see or a taco truck that has the bessssst tacos or whatever. If she's down, she goes "sure!" and you have a date. If she's not down, you did your absolute best! The experience will make you a better and more confident person either way.
