I'm a 22 year old college guy who's had reasonably good success on tinder and pulling at night clubs but have had little success elsewhere. Over the past 4 years after graduating high school as a kissless virgin, I've made out with and slept with enough women that I don't care to keep track. However, the majority of this success can be attributed to tinder, and has just led to meaningless hookups which provide little to no satisfaction, as the majority of them have had no real emotional meaning and/or most of the girls I have hooked up with have been relatively average looking.

I've thought about why my success comes from tinder/dancing drunk at nightclubs and realized that I'm usually only successful once I know a girl is attracted to me. On tinder this is easy because girls match with you, letting you know they think you're attractive. And when I'm out at clubs (and buzzed...usually not hammered) I just watch for eye contact, or go up and tap girls on the shoulder and start dancing on them. Essentially it's easy for me to know whether they're attracted to me or not.

All of this has made me realize that I am pretty terrible at having interesting, exciting and "attractive" conversations with women. This epiphany so to speak, came when I was talking to my neighbor (see old post for background info) over Facebook when she messaged me a happy birthday. Quickly asked her for her number and got it but was shut down after 4 total texts due to my boring conversation.

So my question is this: How do I become a more interesting conversationalist with women? Has anyone else killed it at nightclubs/tinder and not have success elsewhere and how did you fix it?

Tldr: how do I become a better conversationalist and approach women outside of nightclubs?
