Met a girl on train, asked her to meet up to hang out amusement park with my group of friends already going

2 days later, the day comes and she surprisingly shows up (because she was late from work)

Now we are walking through the amusement park and I notice some things

-She's not looking at me at all. No eye contact unless I call for it

-Closed body language, where she has her arms crossed in front of her at all times

-She walks ahead of me quickly, to the point where I'm almost "catching-up" to her

So I figure let's go on some rides. We go on ferris wheel, I try to put my arm around her and give her some comfort since she said she gets nervous on rides, but no feedback. Some sort of feedback I'd expect is for her to put her head closer to me when I put my arm around her.

On line for next ride, I try to put my hands over her and she still gives no response. We go on ride, I try to hold her hand since I know she's scared, but it just ends up being awkward and we stop.

Afterwards, she hurriedly says she's gotta go and rushes out.

I know I have a lot to improve myself - especially communication, since I have no idea what to say during 1 on 1s, but I was more confused at how unresponsive she was the entire time. Why would you go through the effort of hanging out with someone if you're going to be cold? The entire time I was trying to figure out what I was doing wrong, but no avail. But then again, it's my first hang out in a long time so I'm glad I'm making slow progress.
