I'm 17, second year of sixth form (idk I guess highschool in US)...

the "general" help is when I seem to talk to a girl I always seem to run it into the ground by ending up talking about boring topics. The odd occassion i've managed to get a "date" or just meeting up secured but then its alot of the time forgot about.

Is messaging on snapchat/messenger a good thing? because I feel like thats the only time I can get the bulk of the conversation in.

About a specific girl, is it weird to ask if she is currently single (despite I have known her for a while/talked, but im a bit confused because ive seen on her stories her with a guy)...

And if im going about asking her to meet up, for example cinema should it be as easy as (assuming we're talking about said movie) "hey we should go see it"
