Ive fucked up a lot of sets being too aggressive. Backing off sometimes allows you to salvage it later but aside from that....there isn't a way to recover that I know of.
If you overplay your hand too much, you can't take the chips back out of the pot.
Better to not overdo it to begin with IMO
