In my personal life, I feel quantity leads to quality moreso than quality leads to quantity (the latter being something like social proofing). If I'm consistently talking to 5+ girls, then over time the quality of the girls improves. I'll have a happy sex life, my body language gets better, I'm not as needy or clingy, and maybe even the chemical composition of my body changes (more testosterone, better pheromones, etc).

Don't chase game is the gold standard, but I only really apply 'don't chase game' when I have multiple options of what do on a given night and it's not worth it to get girl #2 or girl #3 to commit to plans if I have plans with girl #1 since I don't want to have to deal with rain checks, multiple commitments in a night, etc. That said, I still had 'non clingy' communication with girl #2 and #3 such that they might reach out unprompted during the middle of next week to see how I'm doing. Now they're pursuing me and I'm golden.

Social media can burn you a little since it is easy to send 10 copy and paste iMessages, or you can send the same private picture to countless number of people on Snapchat at the same time. You can be clingy or desperate to a lot of people at the same time. That said, when I'm actually trying to remember things about people, or when I send genuine messages, I find myself forgetting to contact the marginal 6th or 7th girl which then makes her wonder why I'm not chasing her like the other lame dudes in her life. My status gets a boost.

It seems the most efficient way to do this is to open consistently but don't advance things to courtship, such as a real first date or a second date, unless it is the girl pushing things. You'll still get the benefit of "hanging out" with the girls you just met while also looking like a man with options to the girls you've opened. Also, it seems you should strive for stability in your roster of friends with benefits such that your serious dating and courtship interactions aren't clouded by fears of striking out and becoming "incel".
