Okay. I'm dating again after a lengthy LTR, and in my job I spend half of my weeks on call. On call in my case means I work all day, and then I may be called upon to work from quitting time until midnight or so... or in some cases, get off at 5 or 6 and then be called back in at 11 or midnight.

I can, however, declare a dinner break which can provide me with anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes with a prospective 'partner' in the early evening.

My game is not at the level where I can persuade my first dates, and I'm mostly in first dates right now, to come back to my place in the first half hour. As such, my option is to have a quick date over coffee, try to build some feels and tingles towards me, and then leave while booking another date for later that week or next week.

I enjoy many of the folks I go out on dates with purely for companionship, but at the same time I'm not sure if being so limited with the time I can spend is in any way degrading my chances.

Thoughts?
