99% sure she wanted you to fuck her but didn't want to talk to you about you fucking her right before it haha. It's also reasonable for a girl not to commit to being a fwb before you have had sex (in case a guy is bad in the sack, needy, etc).

Also the player comment is completely unnecessary and usually caries a negative stigma. You can get with many women and not be considered a player by being honest, respectful, and gentlemanly. In fact I think that should be your goal. Girls want to feel uniquely desired by men not like another notch in the belt. The last thing they want to hear before having sex is how you're a player.

Honestly, it sounds like you dropped the ball. It may be salvageable, but live and learn.
