I ramble on and on about things I've seen in my dating life (probably particular to my circumstances) that give me pretty good insight into how well I'll do with any particular girl. I have a large sample size thanks to years of fumbling and overuse of dating apps.

At times it seems harder to meet girls thanks to dating apps that keep them in touch with 100s of guys. That compares to the past when you could approach a girl and know there weren't that many guys to compete against. This higher level of competition could lead to neediness and lowered standards.

On the other hand, I'm getting into deeper and deeper relationships than I was before: maybe game, age, experience? All in all, I've done 99% of what I want sexually and it doesn't excite me to repeat a wild or great night from 5 years ago.

All in all, I should get pickier since the upside of facing LMR from a 6 or 7 I'm never going to marry isn't worth a $50 weekly dating budget needed to constantly meet Tinder girls. I'd rather have the money.

On the other hand, I should get pickier as a boost to my status. I should say no to girls I'd otherwise like since I don't really care about my count anymore. At first it'll be an act, but over time I'll internalize it and value myself higher, leading to natural pickiness.

I'm in a foul business relationship with a very attractive young woman (~23 or 24 years old) and I ignore her and act relatively shitty at times to her, but I don't care about sleeping with her since it's business. That said, I feel like there are men more elite than me in her life that fawn over her and grovel before her. I like the experience of being shitty to a woman I used to fawn over. I'm going to get out of business with her but it was valuable experience in handling attractive women.
