I am a junior in college and have an amazing group of friends. However, most of them graduated or are too busy to hang out, so we rarely hang out.
I have been getting out there and developing The ability to find something to talk about and start friendships.
My routine has been: Go to class, attempt to start conversations with girls and guys in class that go nowhere, go to the gym, go to a new club/party/social event alone and fail to start conversations or connect because everyone just went their with their own friends and then go alone. I also don't know how to break into cliques and meet their single friends.
I will admit to a degree of social anxiety and awkwardness that is miles better than before but is still present.
I also have started talking to many more girls. Yet I noticed that most aren't interested in me or are taken.
How did you get over this? I feel like I'm running out of time and youth. I may miss out on the easiest time to meet women.
