Most of the college advice is geared towards colleges with booming and active social scenes. My college isn't all that social. There rarely are events, and even in the dorms, people stay in their suite cliques and I almost never see neighbors willing to get to know each other unless introduced. Most people only leave for classes or to get food, and are in cliques, so they rarely open up to others.
I tried to talk to people in classes, yet I have failed to meet girls there, and even the guys aren't willing to make friends (not in their cliques) in classes, or only socialize for business related purposes. Plenty of commuters are there too, so they have their HS cliques/gfs/bfs.
I know I am making excuses and am being a coward, but I don't know how to go to parties or meet girls if they aren't going out in the first place, especially without their cliques. Most parties in our school are Greek only, so they and the others go to raves.
What do I do?
