Hi guys. Need some advice on how to tackle this obstacle I have in my head. Long post incoming.
Basically, I am in a pretty shaky period of my life: finished 3 years of uni which did not contribute to getting a career/solid skill set/job which leaves me in a place where I have to pick a skill up and make something of myself. To add to this, I somehow got myself convinced that I suck with women and I have to change myself to get them. Horrible logic, since I was told I'm pretty MGTOW and the only problem I have is that I have approach anxiety, but once I'm over the initial phase and there is some positive feedback I can handle myself. What was really eating at my core was my virginity which I took care with an escort and that doesn't bother me anymore.
So right now I'm trying to focus on getting a job/building my career and moving to a new country. But one of my acquaintances convinced me to sign-up for a PUA group coaching type of thing here, which is OK but I've found that it doesn't align with my goals. I've been to 2 of the meetings so far, and we get homework which is pretty much stuff intended to make us get over our anxieties (talk to X number of old people, talk to X random dudes, chicks etc..) - normal stuff and helpful by all standards. However, this might sound like an excuse to not doing stuff, but I really dislike the place/language barrier I have here and I can't wait to get the hell out. I wish this wasn't so black and white but it feels forced on me and it feels this way in my interactions with almost everyone I have. Feeling out of place was never so acute.
I've been told that women are the same everywhere and if I learn to handle them here with my current language obstacles, I will be able to do so anywhere. While I can see the point, I still feel like a dolt walking up to random women trying to chat them up and hopefully get them on a date. I would rather focus on my career and moving out rather than dividing myself in 3 directions, each requiring huge amounts of energy and commitment (in the sense of time to improve). So now that I've put my thoughts in text, my priorities are pretty clear:
- Getting the job.
- Moving out (estimate around 6 months till I have saved up enough).
- Women.
The biggest fear I have is rationalizing my indecision/inability to do something about these things. If it were easy, I would not have the dilemma of "how to make all three fit in", but it's not. This indecision is stalling me in all directions (mainly because of the heavy subject I have with women). So I ask you guys, what is your view of this situation? Do I have an opportunity to repair something here or should I focus on the "safe" but proven road of improving my own situation in life?
tl;dr I am indecisive about life, is it possible to have all three options or should I focus on one at a time?
Thanks for reading!
