Girls are really good at sussing out BS and non-congruence. You'd have been better off telling her the truth. Instead, objectively what you did was adopt a weaker frame in an attempt to avoid losing her. Learn from it and move on.

I went out with a girl and we were discussing tax increment financing. I expressed my opinion that TIFs should have an term limit so they are not eternal tax breaks. She disagreed, she thought it would be better to have a lower TIF rate than to shorten the term. Of course I could never have sex with someone with such a stupid opinion.
