A few days ago I found a story in some other subreddit (/r/relationships I guess, though I'm not sure) where a girl was asking whether to start a relationship with a homeless man she hooked up with, some redditors thought she was trolling but a lot of people took it seriously because they've met someone like her before.

Do you know any other stories like this? What was it that you (or a friend) found so sexy/interesting about the broke person? And if you (or your friend) were the broke guy/girl, what did you do to show the best of you so effectively?
