Hello seddit! here is my story : freshman at the university, made lot of friends and met a really cute girl that we are in the same group of friends. Let's call her Kat. I started talking and teasing her. Turns out I really like her. I gather my courage and asked her out last week . She said yes( I am not sure if she did understand that I did not mean in a friendly way)! We couldn't go out last week as we had lots of assignments. Things go alright even though she seems clueless about flirt ( I learned that she is inexperienced in flirt in general). Last weekend a friend organised a party and she was also invited. Great. A good opportunity to finally organise the date and progress things a little bit. So I do not chase her in the party as I did not want to be pushy and the point is to have fun! After a while we sit together and with a few other friends in the balcony to chill. I tried to start a conversation but my attempts were failed because she chatted with some other people. Then I tell her to come closer to me to tell her something . I tell her " let's go on a date on Thursday or Friday". Kat responde " Sorry but I have to go on a trip but we should go next week". I just said ok and continued to tease her and have fun. While I was doing this her girl friends was watching us. I decided to go grab a drink . The moment I get up, her girl friend goes to her and started whispering something to her while staring at me like an owl. What is going on ? This was strange so I decided to back off and went to chat with a friend. After a while I wanted to drink some water and went to the kitchen. Kat was there alone with a very confused face. I ask her if she was OK. She tells me yes everything is alright in a panicky way and that she wants some air. She leaves the room immediately! That was suspicious. I did not gave a lot of attention to that so I continued to party. 1 hours later I went to the balcony to make a call. She was there alone lost in her thoughts . Let's make a last attempt I told myself. I asked her why she was so sad and she said she just feels a bit dizzy. I offered to get her some water but she declined and then she got away again. Fuck it. No more attempts today. The funny thing was that when I did not give her any more attention she stared at me frequently. Fast forward to Monday(yesterday), I gave her minimum attention. Still, I caught her staring at me a lot again. After the lecture she came to me and asked me how I was. I just responded fine and went to the cafeteria with some friends. She came to me again to do our handshake ( yes we have our own handshake) out of blue. We did it and that's all. Today I saw her again and greeted. No response. She still continued the stare-at-me-when-I-do-not-see-her thing. After lectures we went with my friends and her to a Caffè. I tried to tease her a bit but Kat did not respond. After a while she left...
