Just to address a couple things.

First, he is dressed like a weirdo that video in order to "peacock"; it helps you stand out from the crowd.

Second, these techniques seem extremely stupid/implausible but if you actually think about it there's a brilliant logic to it that could be applied in various ways; even if these particular stories wouldn't actually be powerful IRL, you could probably come up more organic/natural/powerful stories that incorporate the same principles.

The idea is that you can say certain things to prove to her that you're pair-bonded to her, and this will reduce LMR.

One Youtuber commented:

It's not meant to be logical. The communication takes place on an emotional level. The whole purpose of these stories is to DHV and hook the set, all the attraction switches are buried in the stories, tension loops etc. They are designed to flip emotional switches. You need to know some psychology to understand it.

Mystery says that when LMR happens:

[S]he'll think back, "Is this man pair-bonded to me? Has this man's brain been hijacked?" And I've proven it.

He proves it with stories

  • the "you're like a really nice piece of baggage" story (as prep for this story, earlier in the night he will say "there's something special about you" and then brush it off like it was meaningless)

  • the "I don't know if you like pomegranates" story

  • the "have you cast a spell on me" story

I would love to know the exact psychological strategy behind each story. He doesn't elaborate. But obviously each story's message is: "I am pair-bonded to you!"

The first two might (not sure) have a "push-pull"/"neg" component to them. He calls her "baggage" in the first one and he says she "sucks" in the second one. (In the third one his tone is accusatory/negative, so that might be a bit "push-pull"/"neg" too mixed in with the sweetness of what he's actually saying, but I'm not sure whether he would actually use that tone when he does that.)

I'm not sure how important his specific word-choice/phrasing/tone are.

I'm also not sure how important his pauses are; for each story he pauses quite conspicuously for a few beats before the punchline, which builds tension.

Maybe we could dissect these to try to understand them.

Edit: I would like to know how these stories work in a bit of detail. The Youtuber said: "The whole purpose of these stories is to DHV and hook the set, all the attraction switches are buried in the stories, tension loops etc. They are designed to flip emotional switches." How do these stories "DHV," for example? I mean, maybe the baggage one might do that because he mentions that he's a jet-setter flying around to all these events. But the pomegranate one? The dream one? How do those stories "DHV?" They actually make him seem like a bit of a loser if anything...
