This a throwaway account because I don't want this to show on my original one. I might sound like a troll but I swear to god I'm not.

I started dating a girl about 5 months ago who's a HB7-8, cute and nice, very feminine and into traditional gender roles. She's a great cook and always made me meals whenever she came over which is great if it wasn't for the fact that almost everything she made was a heart attack on a plate, her cooking style is fatty as hell (Who the hells adds bacon to a salad?!), I could practically feel cholesterol lumping in my bloodstream. She's in really good shape, a size 4 and works out regularly, I've seen photos of her mother and her mother is great shape too so I think it's her workout regime + great genes which is keeping her thin but I don't have those genes, I come from a long line of obese people and TRP was what encouraged me to lose weight and get in the gym.

The problem was when I recommended some alternative to the hedonistic amounts of butter and lard (and other fatty substances) she uses and to reduce the quantity of food she makes, she got very mean, said stuff like "I didn't know I was dating a Victoria's Secret model" and "the biggest turn off is a man who doesn't eat properly" and we had an argument which resulted in a break up. I stood my grounds and told her that I take my health and shape very seriously but she still left, I was expecting her to come back by now (It's been almost 3 weeks) but she hasn't so I guess she was dead serious.

Is this normal behavior of women? This is only my 3rd attempt at a relationship and the first one who actually cooked for me. Did I handle it the wrong way? Was there something better I could do? How do you avoid this sort of situation in the future?
