TL;DR
I care more about my work and lifting to pursue women. However I don't want to compromise lifting/working to pursue women. I don't want to put on a front or do PUA shit to attract women. This is detrimental because regardless of whether I do well in the future I'll always not care enough about women because I can only view them as solipsistic money grubbers that would drop my at the prospect of something better. These views while certainly redpill have led me to be alone/incel. How do I get out of this?
After learning about redpill (around the time of the birth of the subreddit). I was already getting fit and focusing on work/school. I graduated college a few months ago and have steadily declined into an incel or MGTOW depending how you see it. I have a good job/career doing something I love, soon I'll be able to pursue my hobbies, and I have enough time/disposable income to go to bars (depending if I let my hobby take a back seat/ manage my time). I know redpill theory better than most and actually bothered to read/keep up on the side bar. But after a while I have not chosen but slipped into a pattern where I won't change for women/ to get laid.
My whole descent into MGTOW started after my first year of lifting and it reflects how I view redpill ideology and the desire to get laid/build nondestructive relationships with women. After the first few months of lifting I had decent strength (from SS)and wanted to do hypertrophy to look good. I did PHAT and I wasn't happy at all since it required me to be at the gym 4+ days a week, and my strength wasn't going up as fast as it did with SS (which reflecting back makes perfect sense). I learned that my desire for strength was much more satisfying than looking good. Currently I have sub par upper body lifts (205 max bench but 385squat and nearly 455lb DL after 2 years of lifting[not impressive ik]).
Juxtaposing this to my life. I enjoy socializing but I get bummed out when my friends want to go to a bar spend hundreds of dollars on drinks while trying to muster a compliment to the cute bartender. Inner redpill (and RooshV's Bang) says, that's not how you handle a bartender or really any woman in a bar environment. I'm much more content spending my money on my hobby or trying out a cool restaurant. The problem with this is that my hobby is solitary and I feel that on top of lifting (2hours 3-4x week) and 45-50hrs of work a week I don't think doing things outside my hobby is anything more than a waste of time and money. Because if I do social hobbies that I don't truly enjoy am I any better than a thirsty beta? Being frugal and one track minded has led me to be more conservative with clothing and generally reject PUA and redpill concepts of trying to provide social proof to women that would drop you the moment you show a sliver of vulnerability or lose frame. Thinking back onto anything it is similar to the approach I took with lifting by losing sex appeal to pursue things you think are important.
Where I'm going with this is that I can't just ditch my job and hobby because my plan is to make money off it in the future and it requires a ton of effort and dedication, but at the same time I don't want to be progressed/stable in my career with a good/strong body and just not care about women because I'll be able to see right through some girl trying to strap me down as she's hitting the wall.
My question is, what changes can I make in my life to better pursue women such that I don't compromise my values? Are my values even correct? Is prioritizing something irrelevant as strength over aesthetics or career/hobby (in this case chemistry related) worth it in the long run?
