I remember feeling that way when I was in high school (and now in college sometimes I still do), it feels hard to do the first time, but once you do it, the next time is piece of cake. Try to approach her when she is alone (you'll get less nervous and is easier to chat), for example at the cafeteria or the library and chat about whatever subject. Also fake confidence if you don't have and talk to her as one of your friends. You can make it dude!
