I usually only get around myself by using buses and uber and it worked very well for me since I don't tend to go out far. I also don't have my own place again because it's comfortable and I don't have to worry about being alone.

Yet I'm told BOTH of these are required to get anywhere and even requesting to take a girl to a hotel is very unlikely so as a result it's important to have your own place.

How true is this?
