My daygame is much better than game at clubs, why is that and how can I fix it?

Based on what you've already said about your style, it relies a lot on talking.

Clubs are built around non-verbal fun. Dancing and loud music that drowns out speech.

So to adapt, you first need to plug into the fun of the place so that you're relating to people at their wavelength.

RSD Tyler has a pretty good guide on this. He gets into the idea of how to get into a better mindset, etc.
If you're serious about this question, just sit down and watch Richard La Ruina's talk on night game. He gets into a lot of detail about nonverbal game, which pretty much rules in places like clubs. And allows you to interact in ways that would never fly in daygame. More importantly, he gets into a lot of practical advice that you can immediately try out.

can fake emotions well and say the right things

I mean, that can work, obviously.

But then you end up in situations that might be brag-worthy later, but internally unsatisfying and counter to your own values if you have to basically lie to get there.

Been down that road. It gets old fast. If you get into the habit of faking emotions and such, you're also establishing habits that will fuck with your chances of settling down in the future.

Honestly, I think the simplest thing you can do is go out there and fuck up a whole lot, and try to learn from your mistakes. You need to become comfortable with the environment and that happens slowly over time as you continue to go out.

Another thing that helps immensely, is if you can get a wingman to go out with you. I find it a lot easier to spot other people's issues, than I can spot mine.
