Alright so I've been reading lots of these reports recently and have been wanting to try myself so I went ahead and did. I was snowboarding with a friend at a local mountain by my college. We went to take a break and sit down at one of the tables outside the lodge. A couple of minutes later I see a worker approaching us, easily an HB8. She came up to our table and asked if we would be interested in entering a survey to get a free drink. The drinks at the mountain are pretty expensive and I was thirsty so I agreed and my friend did as well. She asked for my name, email, and zip code. I told her everything and made a couple of small jokes while she was writing everything down. The whole time I was thinking whether or not I should try and get her number but I ended up backing out at the last second. She leaves and my friend and I get up to go to the lift. While we were walking over there I was telling him how I was thinking about trying to get her number and he told me I should have done it. I stopped walking and told him I was going to go back and find her and do it. He went with me and we went back to the benches outside the lodge where she was offering other people to take the survey. I waited for her to be done with some other people and then called her over to ask about the survey even though I just did it to get her attention. I confirmed with her that she took down my email and name and she said yes. Right after I asked her because I gave her my information if I could get hers. Immediately she smiled and got a little nervous and said "maybeee". She asked me if I went to the college she goes to which I did so I said yeah and then she asked me what year I was. I responded with "I'm a freshman" and she said "me too". I said "perfect then" and she agreed and gave me her information. Not very impressive but it is my first one and gave me a good amount of confidence so hopefully more to come from it.
