My advice after a girl rejects you is to "move on" . Get other girls and remain friends with her. If she likes you then she'll get jealous and try to spend as much time with you or she'll ask about the girls you hang out with and if you think they are pretty or anything similar (you know what I mean) . Acting like you need her will boost her ego. Acting awkward around you might be because she just feels uncomfortable around you since told her you liked her and she rejected you. Don't be awkward around her too and don't try too hard to get in touch with her - act normal like life couldn't be better with or without her.
