To what extent is this true? I know a man who embodies the concept of not explaining to the point of extremism. He literally will not explain a situation even when he's supposed to be helping you, regardless of what you ask. His wife said he 'refuses to take responsibility for anything'.

Yet she is clearly several points above him in the attraction department- comsidering the fact that he is fat and balding, the fact that they ended up together is testament to his alpha qualities, isn't it? I've seen him botch his wife's and friends' business up repeatedly simply because he was leading and they had no clue what he was doing- and he refused to tell them. Yet they stick to him like his money is glue.

It's like he refuses to give a shit about anything apart from money. It's amazing and yet sad at the same time, because his physical state is miserable even as he enjoys all the benefits of an alpha (status, power, etc) thanks to his wealth. I don't understand this man. Is he alpha?

He consistently gets away with annoying people by not explaining, simply because the power and money lures them back. I can't- without the money, I'd get shot down. So it comes to this: what is an effective way of not explaining oneself? I want this leadership quality, but I don't want to or rather can't do it in the way he does- pissing people off.
