Part of the issue here is that a lot of guys depend on dating apps for too much of their social life. Dating apps should be a piece of your social life. A small one.

It's easier to have "abundance" when you have other things going on in your life, rather than going into some online chat with a stranger when you don't have many other friends in your life. (It's legitimately HARD not to lean on strangers when you lack the simple infrastructure of friends.)

I think the bigger reason is because it's online. Most girls just want to see how many guys will match them but most times won't put any effort forth.

Besides not being a creep and good looking you just have to have good luck. All the girls I've met from tinder is just because at the time I matched/messaged with them they were bored, wanted to go out and I was the closest guy that didn't go straight to talking about sex
