ask for her phone number, either link back to something in class as an "excuse" to talk to her, or simply be straightforward and say you are attracted to her and want to get to know her more

Yeah it’s not so much what to say but when, we had a brief interaction last week so I’m no stranger but I’m just anxious that the longer I wait the more “out of the blue it’ll be” seeing as I keep to myself most of the time. Main issue is do I wait for her after lecture or stall and catch up

sounds like you are in a situation where you are looking for the perfect moment. at some point, dont force it or rush yourself causing unnecessary anxiety and nervousness, initiate conversation. if you fear rejection remember its college theres a limitless amount of girls to talk to next

I also have another lecture with her, do you think I should sit next to her in that- generate some small talk etc to make me more comfortable? Then ask her out on coffee date one day

that works out. sit next to her and ensure you talk to her though, if you sit next to her and dont say a word likely its going to be ruined

How long has school been going on? Can you just randomly sit by her one day and just start talking / flirting a bit first? If she hasn't really noticed you yet, get to class early and sit close to where she normally sits, then don't really make eye contact when she comes in just look busy. Then when she sits down you can make some small remark. This exposure will calm your nerves as you get used to her, and you can slightly talk more and more. Eventually you won't be as nervous and can ask her out.

Thanks for this, it’s been like 3 weeks. I usually come late to avoid this anxiety. Well not late but 2-3 mins before lecture instead of 10-15 normally
