Well this is unusual, its usually a girl confiding with a guy about her ex-boyfriend. You have the advantage of the reverse, so you hold all the cards. She could very well be interested in you if she listens to your ex-gf spiel and feels she is in the friend zone with you. I guess its up to you to warm things up slowly, toss in some hints and see what she does. Creating sexual tension here is important, so less talk more action and do more intimate distance than friend distance with her. Instead of putting your arm around her, have her sit in your lap or lay down on the couch, spooning her. Maybe snuggle under a blanket and hold her hand and fiddle with her fingers. "KINO" works a lot better when you start with the hands, you can generate a lot of intimacy with just some hand stuff.

As for you fearing losing her friendship, well you posted this message so you obviously want more. Perhaps the friendship can survive a little fooling around, after all, she hasn't run away yet she keeps coming back.

I feel some girls do what u said she did just to see if us men are really into them. Like when u put her arm around the shoulder and she kinda nudged u away. She was probably like what is he gonna do after this ? Is he gonna keep trying or just stop after one rejection. Ive been told by girls that they do this just to see how bad he wants her.

Without reading your post, if this is important to you, and I dont feel like it should be, just make mental (or actually write it down) note of it. Keep account of when she does this so you can employ concrete examples when you confront her on the subject.

But again, you should just be off looking for others. Going after your friend alone is just going to turn into oneitis
