One of the biggest dilemmas that men face when it comes to expectations in dating and seduction is to lead while not being overbearing or intimidating.

Let’s say you are at the bar and you approach a woman with her back leaning against the wall. How do you approach?

  • Option 1: You begin talking to her while you are directly in front of her, so she is sandwiched between you and the wall. This is an aggressive position because she feels trapped. At this point, she may start to feel nervous and scan the room for a friend to come save her.

  • Option 2: A better option would be to approach from the side and talk to her as you lean against the wall as well. This gives her the option to walk away whenever she wants but still demonstrates your intent. Additionally, it puts the both of you on a common playing field.

Hopefully, from this example, you guys can see that aggressive guys are insecure because they believe if they give the woman the option to walk away, she will. Assertive guys, however, are confident enough to give the woman this option. The assertive option is the more likely to succeed because it is more attractive and you can tell that the girls who stick around are actually into you and not pressured.

I understand that many women love aggressive guys in the bedroom but until they know you it's better to stick to being assertive.

Let me know some good examples you guys have about the difference between 'assertive' and 'aggressive' in the comments area below.
