What went wrong in my head?

So, am suffering abit by getting back in the gsme after a breakup from LTR. So yesterday was a situation like this and i would need your thoughts of it: So there is this art place/caffe with a lot of people. Usually seats and tables are all taken so people just walk around. Me and my friends had seats and were about to leave when i noticed two girls walking around trying to find where to sit. I adressed one of them "hey, if u looking for place we are about to leave so you can take this table". One girl said ooh thank you. And they were waiting there. So my friends were gathering up and i used this 2 minutes to talk to her. Me: - enjoy your stay here

• how come we never seen each other And i introduced myself and myfriends started moving towards exit and i said all right girls have fun. And when saying that i understood i was missing a chance of getting her Facebook or a phone number and i left anyways. I was happy and disappointed at the same time. Because i opened a conversation pretty smoothly with a girl, but didnt know how to follow up on it and ask for a number. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
