So I have been coming to this subreddit for about 6 months. I do not suffer from social anxiety, and I'm usually never lost in a conversation with any one I approach. I'm decent looking with teeth that aren't great, (at least they're white!) But i probably would fall anywhere from a 5 to an 8 just physically. I say all this to give a tiny bit of backstory on me.

Friday i went to the bar with a friend and hit it off with this woman katie. Katie was very attractive and i couldn't believe how lucky i felt when she got in the uber back to my place. So i hadn't been back to my place myself pretty much the whole week due to work. My apartment wasn't in the best shape, but i figured it was up to snuff just in general. There weren't clothes strewn about or anything. Once we arrive in my apartment, i turn Netflix on, we're cuddling on the couch til she says she has to go to the bathroom. She goes and comes back 5 minutes later. She says she has to get back. Its 330 am. She takes a lyft and is gone to never respond to a text again. Now I'm asking myself what did i do wrong in the morning beating myself up over it. Turns out there was no soap in the soap dispenser, there was a random steak knife on my bathroom countertop, some dental equipment and there was more facial hair than there needed to be in the sink. I'm saying this as a cautionary tale. You dont want to do literally all the hard stuff and convince a pretty girl to come back with you and then blow the save in the 9th inning. I saw a post on askreddit the other day about what are some things in a guys apartment that sets off red flags? Empty soap dispenser was near the top. Clean your shit, don't make yourself feel like i did.
