Met a cute 6 in my morning class, I can't remember her name. Built rapport for about an hour, I teased her a bit towards the end, made her laugh and got great response.

After lunch was over I asked for her number and got rejected. She "we just met, we'll see each other again in class"

I smile and tease "You don't like me?"

She replies "I don't want to just give out my number"

Me "okay well cya"

I'm confused guys, did I fail? I didn't really think nothing of it, I thought we hit it of great in class. Shy types are confusing any good reads on it.

Also: she was very nervous when I was around.
