Just because someone has a significant other, doesn't mean they can't compliment other people. Compliments (within reason) aren't over any sort of line.

The truth is that you're not processing your own desire for this girl very well, so you're letting these negative voices in your head turn something that's positive, into something awful.

The ages are wildly irrelevant. Except, I imagine in your head, that there's a voice saying it's so unfair that this 40 year old guy is "taking" one of the girls from "your age group."

Their choice and they've made it.

Just as you're choosing to think overtime about this small thing, and whip yourself up over it.

Look at yourself, man. So many other people would take something positive out of a compliment. You're getting pissed over it.

I would think she's into me but she has actually something that I can't understand. I think she perceives me as a beta: - she calls me with nicknames for babies even if we're not this close.

You're running with this convoluted idea that you're not living up to some unproven ideal of "being ALPHA," and that's why she's not into you. And like if only you did the "right thing," she'd be yours.

You're barking up the wrong tree with this mindset.

And you're reading far too much into everything she's doing. If she has nicknames for you, that's endearment. Which means she likes you. As a friend.

Which should be a good sign to you, because it means that, even though this particular girl is not feeling you, you have enough inside you that another girl could connect with you.

The issue is not truly that you believe that NO ONE should be allowed to hug anyone of the opposite sex if they have a significant other.

The issue is, once again, that you aren't regulating yourself emotionally here. Look at how you're running yourself into the ground here, man. You're investing all this time and energy, working yourself up over this person who is being kind to you.

And because she isn't also SEXUALLY into you, the negative voices in your head are telling you that she's really not being kind. Actually, she's a bitch and she's manipulative and all that.

You have to be the one to step in and start fact checking these thought patterns running through your head.

You're overthinking it dude. She loves her man. They are both secure about their love for each other. That's how she is able to appear like she's flirting with you while her guy is around.

She's either using use to make him jealous, or she sees you as an attractive friend she likes to compliment, either way don't let it get to your head lol stop stressing her. Why are you RAGEing when she sent you a pic? You guys aren't anything but co-workers, maybe friends rn
