I was friendzoned by my best friend but we kept going out just the two of us for a very long time and started flirting hard till the near end. Until we had our relationship conversation where she said she didn’t want one but kissed once after and she said she can’t. We stopped going out but were still texting, flirting got much more intense after a while but we couldn’t see each other, we kept building sexual tension and attraction because there was an anticipated date at my house which was only available for that day (sex) for over a month. The day before was extremely flirty and had games until night where things got fucked up again. Now it feels like complete apathy that we didn’t make it and won’t have that chance soon. Is there still hope? Will distance help or end things? There was no closure.
