so rejection is something that always stings a lot for most noobs, like myself, and ive gotten into the shitty habit of carrying it around and feeling shitty about myself about it. so i was looking for a way to help sort of rationalize it in my mind. i couldn't do it simply by shrugging it off. for some reason the idea came to me, what if we were to compare this 'adult' scenario to when we were all little kids? imagine me, some goofy lil lad in ripped up clothes who has just been playing in the dirt all day goes up to a lil girl playin barbies on the sidewalk and tries to give her a smooch....and she recoils and does a "eww slim boys" shtick ....well thats "rejection" but i think psychologically, children, unlike us adults, have way less of an ego or possibly none at all....one might think the opposite because we equate big ego with immaturity, but i say one cannot have an ego unless one understands the conscious vs subconscious mind, which a child does not....therefore i do not think a child has an ego.

in ANY case, the little boy in the above scenario might pout but he would GET OVER IT simply because he would forget or has not developed big enough of an ego for it to be hurt. hell he would be back to playing with worms or monster trucks in no time because to a child, a few moments is a couple of days.

so maybe we are all still children at heart and thus shouldnt take everything so damn SERIOUS?

or maybe it's just that i'm tossed on some og platinum.....hmmmm
