Girls don't give real signs of interest except in response to physical escalation. Most anything else could be platonic friendliness.

You're spending a lot of energy on something (the "nuances" of texting) that doesn't matter.

I can't really talk to her in person as I graduated last year and she is still in Highschool but we talked a lot last year and then stopped.

Okay, so first off, you're out of high school.

You need to be building a post HS life for yourself, not reaching back for that old life.
You're not part of that life, and she's in it. Any sort of attachment you could have with her, is only going to make shit weird, with both of you being pulled out of your separate lives.

If you have a block against talking to her in person, then you really don't have anything to work with anyway and texting is NOT going to fix a damn thing.
