21M, haven't gone to a date in a long time and recently met this girl and we've started hanging out. We've seen each other 2 times now and so far it's going well in my opinion and she told me she would like to meet a 3rd time.

The thing is, so far; the most that has been done is some touching but that's just it. I often read here to go for a k-close as soon as possible to show your indication of interest wether it works or not but I somehow can't. It's not that it's difficult, it's just that I'm someone that wants to get intimate when I know someone a bit better and feel comfortable with it. So far we're starting to get to know each other more and I might actually go for it the 3rd time.

I have discussed this even with a couple of friends and they told me they would never even kiss a girl unless she would be like a girlfriend. So when it comes to a quick hookup they said they don't kiss or go down and I somewhat relate to that mindset.

I was just wondering if I'm taking this too slow or if I should do whatever I'm comfortable with? Because I know a part of self-improvement is doing things that are uncomfortable but I just don't know if this is the case.

Also to add something a bit off topic, our text is only based on logistics, i don't do small talks. So when i feel like meeting i hit her up and that's that. Do I need to text more often to keep any interest alive or if she's really interested, it wouldn't matter?
