Just wanted to share this little rule that helped me a few times ask what you guys think about it:

Whenever I meet a girl I'm interested in on a night out, I offer to take her hand pretty early on, as soon as there is an occasion like walking through a crowd etc. If she takes my hand spontaneously and doesn't let go as soon as she can, it gives the confidence to try further with her and invest myself.
